Welcome to Yoga with Enrico / SUP Yoga Southampton, one of the UK’s leading Floating Yoga studios and SUP Yoga Training Centre. Our classes and training are offered in and around Southampton, UK. What is SUP yoga you might ask? It is an activity that unites one of the world’s fastest growing sports; Paddle boarding or SUP with the ancient art of Yoga Asana, Pranayama and Meditation. SUP Yoga is a unique Yoga practice that is becoming extremely popular around the world allowing an exciting and fun way to get fit, improve your flexibility and fitness whilst on the water. SUP Yoga can be practiced on any calm water surface – river, lake, canal or even in a swimming pool, making it a flexible teaching option, the perfect meditation in motion all whilst floating on the water.
We are advocates of the healing powers of water and all the benefits that come with an outdoor land and water based adventurous lifestyle. Our classes have a personal feel and usually there will be two qualified SUP Yoga teachers on hand at each session.
Our instructors have vast experience as Water Sports instructors as well as teaching all aspects of water Rescue to Lifeguards and Emergency Medical and Rescue Personnel ensuring the best and safest experience, whilst in our care out on the water. You will be in good hands when attending one of our classes, as I am a SUP Yoga Trainer and Yoga School that has been approved by the Yoga Alliance Professionals YAP as well as the ISYA (International SUP Yoga Academy) providing quality SUP Yoga education ensuring that I adhere to the highest safety standards when teaching in the class or out on the water.
Classes are suitable for all ages and levels of experience, even if you have no SUP or Yoga experience. Feeling nervous during a class? Not a problem, we will give you some simple instructions and you can stay on your knees if you feel more comfortable? Depending on the venue, participant must be able to swim up to 50 metres unaided. Participants under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult on the water. We are DBS checked. Beginners always welcome. Each sup yoga class includes a safety briefing and the use of a board, paddle and buoyancy aid. If you prefer to use your own equipment, no worries just let us know when booking your class.
