SUP Yoga is the practice of Yoga on a Paddle Board in the water.


The Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) has been gaining popularity in recent years. It provides a unique way to enjoy the water, provide a low-impact workout, and can be used for a variety of water sports. The latest craze is SUP Yoga, which is a Yoga practice that combines both Stand Up Paddle boarding and Yoga

In a SUP Yoga class, the aspects of Yoga are adapted: asana, pranayama, mudra, and meditation, to complete the practice on a Paddle Surf board, so it is always practiced on a water surface.

It could be considered that this practice is more of a sports discipline than a spiritual one, such as Yoga, but at SUP Yoga World we want to transmit how SUP Yoga is more than a physical practice; we want to share with you some of the physical and emotional benefits that you will obtain with the practice of SUP Yoga.

If you are thinking about trying out SUP Yoga, you can attend a SUP Yoga group class. The structure of a SUP Yoga class is the same as a Yoga class (with the particularities of every style of Yoga). You don’t need to have any tools because the center will provide all you will need, and you will not need to have any previous knowledge, either, because the instructor will guide and support you during the class. You only need to worry about enjoying the experience!
